Annually, 50 to 60 CCA volunteers greet mall shoppers and ring the bells to help fill the red kettles. Bell Ringers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.

CCA teams of two ring the bells for 2-hour shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mall of America. There are 20, 2-hour time slots that cover two entrances. The bell ringers at MOA are inside, so you will be warm and cozy.

Volunteer and bring a friend, a spouse or a neighbor. Requirements include a desire to have fun and share the holiday spirit, and a willingness to provide just a little time to help the most vulnerable in our community.
